Il divieto vale per l’area boscata alle pendici di San Luca (sentiero dei Bregoli compreso), non in tutto il parco.
È in vigore l’ordinanza n. 9/2019 che vieta alle mountain bike il transito nel bosco protetto del Parco della Chiusa. Non in tutto il parco, quindi, bensì nell’area boscata alle pendici di San Luca e sul sentiero dei Bregoli (l’area è indicata all’interno del perimetro rosso nell’ordinanza).
Il provvedimento si è reso necessario in considerazione del fatto che l’intensa attività di mountainbike (anche estremo: “downhill”) provoca:
- gravi danni al sottobosco, erosione e infiltrazione idrica in un versante estremamente ripido, col rischio di innescare un grosso movimento franoso;
- gravi rischi per l’incolumità dei tanti frequentatori/escursionisti del Parco della Chiusa che si dovessero imbattere nella discesa ad alta velocità dei bikers.
La trasgressione comporta una sanzione amministrativa da € 80 a € 500.
In caso il trasgressore sia già stato precedentemente sanzionato per inottemperanza si provvederà, oltre all’applicazione della nuova sanzione amministrativa, al sequestro del veicolo secondo i dettami degli Artt. 19 e 20 della Legge 689/1991.
